We travelled to London on the 7:00 flight with Simon, who had booked us into The Lion King on the Saturday night. We took a train, tube and DLR to docklands where Simon dropped his bags off at the Crown Plaza, then we went to the Sunborn Yacht with our case.
We spent the afternoon at the Tower of London before heading off for a meal at Tuttons Brasserie at Coventry Garden, where we had an excellent meal timed to suit the time we needed to be at the theatre.
The show itself was excellent and the spectacle was impressive, with amazing scenery and hand puppet effects, just like an animated film, but on stage.
As we were a little tired after a long day, we took a cab back to the Sunborn Yacht hotel where our Sunday lunch party was to be, in Docklands.
When we checked in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite and once in the room we discovered the jacuzzi and sauna in our supersized bathroom and patio doors out to our own private deck. We also had the difficult task of dealing with the bottle of champagne that had been left in the ice bucket!
So it was rather late to bed.
