Relaxing at Molino

We spent Saturday chilling out at Molino del Santo, having spent Friday travelling from 4:15am to 6:30pm.

We went down for breakfast of lovely fresh fruit, giant size peached and grapes the size of plumbs and some plain yogurt.

We even added some cooked breakfast of scrambled eggs with mushrooms and tomatoes on toast.

After breakfast we had our longest walk of the day … down to the shop for a bottle of water!

Alison sorted out the swim bag and then went down to the poolside, and went for our first swim. Much warmer than the sea back home.  We had spanish fruit  salad for lunch … by which we mean a jug of sangria in the pergola whilst we left our towels by the pool.

We were on our best behaviour in the afternoon  as there was a wedding celebration lunch party on the terrace.

After a few more swims it was time for afternoon tea, comprising sorbet  or ice cream.

More relaxation and then we needed to prepare for dinner, the famous Molino Paella.

Based on past experience, our starter was just a bowl of olives and an amuse bouche of a deep fried blackpudding bonbon.

We were unable to contemplate any dessert other than cafe grande and we had a brief walk around the hotel grounds before crashing out on our bed.
